The place of the conference:
The conference will be held in Rewita Zakopane „Kościelisko”,
103 Nędzy Kubińca Str.,
34-511 Kościelisko (near Zakopane, Poland)
on June 21-24, 2023.
The organizers provide the accommodation (3 nights: 21/22.06.2023, 22/23.06.2023, 23/24.06.2023) and full board starting from supper on 21.06.2023 to lunch on 24.06.2023.
The conference office starts working on 21.06.2023 at 4 p.m.
Subject
Membrane techniques have found a wide range of applications in environmental protection. Thus, the review and coordination current researches are aimed and justified. The active participation of industrial partners who apply membrane processes into the industrial practice is also highly desired. It has all been revealed by a seriesof membrane conferences regularly organized since 1995.
The aim of the conference is to sum up the recent progress in application of membrane processes mainly in environmental protection, but also in other branches of industry.
The main topics discussed during conference’s sessions are:
- production and characteristics of membranes due to their further application in environmental protection,
- modelling of membrane processes and other engineering concepts,
- desalination of water and wastewater with the use of membrane techniques,
- membranes in water and wastewater treatment technology,
- hybrid membrane processes,
- pervaporation, membrane distillation and gas separation,
- fuel cells,
- application of membranes in biotechnology,
- membranes in environmental monitoring,
- membrane reactors,
- membrane removal of micropollutants from various environmental species.

Competition for Young Scientists
During conference sessions, on June 22, 2023, the Competition addressed to Young Scientists (MSc students and PhD students) for the best oral and poster presentation will be carried out. The competition is sponsored by the European Membrane Society (EMS), the journal Membranes MDPI, and the Polish Membrane Society (PTMem). Every person, who is a young scientist (MSc student or PhD student), an author or a co-author of the research (oral or poster presentation) and will present the research in English, may become a Competitor. Please, use the option for Competition Registration available in the Registration Form at the conference website.
PARTICIPATION
The conference fees
The fee for participation is:
- 2300,00 PLN (place in a double room) befor 10.05.2023 r.
- 2400,00 PLN (single room) before 10.05.2023 r.
- 2450,00 PLN (place in a double room) after 10.05.2023 r.
- 2550,00 PLN (single room) after 10.05.2023 r.
The fee covers the costs of accommodation, meals, conference materials and accompanying events.

PUBLICATION
Abstract template - file to download
Submitted abstracts, after approval by the Scientific Committee, will be included in the Conference Materials.
The publication of abstracts in conference proceedings requires sending two documents, (1) Statement and (2) Authors statement, signed by all authors. Authors' signatures may be sent independently or collectively, on the same copy of a given document. Please send these documents to: irena.korus@polsl.pl
In addition, full texts of papers will be published in:
Papers should be prepared in accordance with the guidelines for authors applicable in a given journal and published on its website. Publications will be charged an additional fee as required by the selected journal.
